Employment of registered nurses is projected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations, growing 6 percent from 2022 to 2032 according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Salary depends on experience and job responsibilities and varies by job setting. The median annual salary for registered nurses was $81,220 in May 2022.
